1:64 Scale RC Cat D7E Track-Type Tractor

Model History and Information: The Cat® D7E is a medium track-type tractor (dozer) notable for its electric-drive powertrain, which pairs a 235 hp Cat C9.3 engine with an AC electric generator, inverter, and propulsion module in place of a traditional torque converter and mechanical transmission. Caterpillar states the D7E burns 10 to 30 percent less fuel per hour than the previous D7 model, depending on the application. It is used for grading and dozing in general construction. According to Cat Product Link data, D7E customers have collectively saved more than 1.4 million gallons of diesel fuel compared with the previous D7R model. This 1:64 scale radio-control model reproduces the dozer with a movable blade.
